Welcome back to the blog, my fellow travelers! I am Bryan Fetterolf, and today, I am thrilled to share with you the story of an unforgettable summer adventure. It was me, my mini labradoodle, Baxter, and my trusty Tesla Model 3 fitted with Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta. A whopping 4200 miles laid out in front of us, and nothing but the open road as our canvas.
In the picture above, you can see me and my faithful companion Baxter, perched at the edge of a serene pond. This moment captures the spirit of our journey – the tranquility that nature offers, the bond between man and his best friend, and the thrill of exploring the unexplored. It was just us, our car, and the echoing whispers of the wilderness.
The story behind this image is as compelling as the image itself. It was midday when we spotted this pond, and there was an irresistible urge to take a break from our drive. The reflective water served as a mirror to the soul, a soothing balm to the bustling, electric hum of the Model 3’s FSD Beta.
Speaking of the FSD Beta, it was an indispensable companion on our journey. With it, our Model 3 wove effortlessly through highways and byways, mountains and valleys, cities and towns. The autonomy it provided gave me more time to bond with Baxter and soak in the beautiful landscape that unfolded in front of us.
There’s a certain kind of freedom that comes with a cross-country road trip, a chance to redefine the boundaries of your world. For Baxter and me, those 4200 miles didn't just represent the physical distance we covered. They were a testament to our shared experiences, moments of wonder, and the simple, unwavering companionship that turned our journey into an adventure.
I know many of you are as passionate about travel as I am, so I invite you to join me as I relive this experience. Follow along on the blog as I break down the trip, step by step, mile by mile. From the Tesla Model 3's performance with the FSD Beta to Baxter's favorite stopovers, from the breathtaking vistas to the quiet moments of reflection, like the one captured in this image.
As Bryan Fetterolf, a travel enthusiast, a pet parent, and an avid Tesla driver, this adventure has added a new dimension to my life.
